interactive disco ball
This disco ball brings party engagement to a new level by allowing us to explore interaction with data visualization whether is from a spotify playlist or a twitter trend
The color and speed of this disco ball will change according to the frequency of music added to a Spotify playlist and the rate of shared hashtags on Instagram or Twitter.
The prototype uses a Wi-Fi development kit known as Particle Photon and a freeware web-based service that creates chains of simply conditional statements triggered by other web services such as Spotify, Twitter or Instagram.
